Following several workshops GreenWood conducted in traditional bowl carving, wood drying and tool sharpening, we returned to the Palcazu Valley of Peru in 2012 to introduce the use of chainsaw technology to a community of accomplished Yanesha carvers. Led by chainsaw sculptor, Brad Sells of Tennessee, we opened new frontiers in design and production.

Building on the bicycle lathe workshop GreenWood held in Honduras in 2016, we returned to the North Coast in July 2017 to install a second bike lathe and conduct a training session in the production of turned carving mallets (for export to Lee Valley Tools).
